  • cups stale bread crumbs
  • 1 pt. milk
  • 2 tablespoons

Method

Soak bread crumbs in milk; add sugar, butter and eggs slightly beaten, salt, and flavoring. Put into a buttered pudding dish and set dish in a pan of hot water. Bake in moderate oven about ½ hour. Try with knife. If the knife comes out clean, the pudding is done.
