Ingredients

  • cups butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 6 yolks, beaten

Method

Cream butter, add sugar, then stir in the beaten yolks, add the flour and lastly the beaten whites.

Bake in deep, buttered pudding dish and when done, make 6 or 7 slashes in cake, pour in the milk sweetened with the ¼ cup sugar and bake again until milk is absorbed. Serve warm with cold
