  • 1 cup rice
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ lb. Sultana raisins
  • ¼ cup fat, (chicken, goose or butter.)


Cook the rice in the boiling, salted water 30 minutes or until nearly done. Mix with the rest of the ingredients and place in well greased pudding dish and bake until top of Kugel is quite brown.
