  • 1 cup very strong cold coffee
  • 4 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1 cup thin


Mix and strain into small cups and place them in a shallow pan. Put boiling hot water into the pan until it reaches half way up to the cups. Set into a moderate oven and cook very gently until the custard is firm. Serve ice cold with little cakes.
