Soften the gelatine in cold water, add the boiling water and sugar; when the sugar is dissolved strain over the banana pulp, heat to the scalding point, cool, add the lemon juice and beat over ice water until light and cold, then beat in, gradually, the stiffly beaten whites of the eggs. Turn the mixture into a mould lined with slices of banana. Serve cold, ornamented with whipped cream, sweetened and flavored.
