  • 1 qt. strawberries
  • ½ lb. macaroons
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 yolks
  • 1 cup white wine


Alternate sugared strawberries and macaroons in a pudding dish. Heat wine and pour gradually over the beaten yolks. When slightly cooled pour over the berries and macaroons and mix. Fill into an air tight mould and pack in ice and salt six hours. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
