Custard Pie No. 1

• 1½ cups scalded milk
• 2 eggs
• Speck salt
• 3

Line a deep pie plate with pastry, pinch down the edges, and fill in the custard made as follows. Scald the milk and add it to the beaten eggs and sugar, and seasoning. Bake in a quick oven at first, then decrease the heat or it will curdle.
