Add butter, sugar and salt to the milk; when lukewarm add dissolved yeast cake, egg, well beaten, flour to make a stiff batter, add raisins; cover and let rise; spread in buttered dripping pan ½ in. thick. Cover and let rise again. Before baking melt 2
