Ingredients

  • cups confectioner's sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • Yolk of 1 egg
  • Coffee extract to taste, or
  • 2 (oz.) squares chocolate

Method

Wash butter in cold water, pat, and remove the water, then beat to a cream; add the beaten yolk and gradually the sugar and extract of coffee, or flavor with 2 oz. chocolate melted over hot water and a teaspoon vanilla.
