Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • cup water
  • 1 oz. bitter chocolate
  • ¾ cup butter

Method

Boil sugar and water until it spins a thread when dropped from a spoon. Melt chocolate with the butter, then mix it with the syrup; if it separates while stirring add a few drops of cold water.
