  • 1 cup scalded milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 yolks of eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla


Mix cornstarch and sugar, add eggs, slightly beaten and pour gradually on the hot milk. Cook in double boiler, stirring constantly until thickened. Cool and flavor with the vanilla.
