  • ¾ cup sugar
  • cup flour
  • teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups milk or cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


Mix dry ingredients, add eggs slightly beaten, and pour on gradually the scalded milk. Cook in double boiler. Stir constantly until thickened; cool and flavor.
