  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup


Mix the dry ingredients and sift over the prepared dried fruit. Cream the butter and the sugar, add the egg, beat well; then the molasses, coffee and dissolved soda, then combine the two mixtures and beat well together. Bake in a moderate oven in a well greased pan, dredged lightly with flour.
