Make Sponge, or Cup Cake, and bake in well buttered muffin tins. When cold cut off tops and carefully take out soft inside with cookie cutter and knife. Fill with ice cream or with sweetened and flavored whipped cream.

Cut rind of lemon or orange, or apple peel, in long strips ¼ inch wide. Lay a piece of either over top of filled cake, sticking ends in at sides, between filling and cake, to resemble handle of basket. Use scraps of cake for Bundte Schuessel.
