  • 2 whites of eggs
  • 2 oz. grated chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon


Beat the whites to a stiff froth, add sugar gradually, and continue beating. Mix chocolate, cinnamon and bread crumbs together. Add this mixture gradually to the eggs and sugar. Add vanilla and beat well. Drop from teaspoon on buttered paper or inverted buttered tin, not near together, as they spread. Bake in moderate oven twenty minutes, first ten minutes on floor of oven and last on rack.
