  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ lb. cocoanut
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • cups flour


Beat eggs until light, add sugar and beat again; add flour and baking powder mixed, and stir in the grated or shredded cocoa-nut. Drop small portions with teaspoon on well buttered pans, rather far apart, as they spread. Bake in a moderate oven from 10 to 15 minutes. Keep in covered jar.
