  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 cup English walnuts

Method

Beat egg and sugar until very light; into this stir the nuts, then add the flour. Drop on tins with teaspoon; make the patties about the size of macaroons and bake in a medium hot oven about 10 minutes.
