  • Whites of 4 eggs
  • cups powdered sugar, or

Method

The eggs must be strictly fresh and the sugar dry. Beat the whites until stiff, and gradually add two-thirds of the sugar. Continue beating until mixture will hold its shape. Fold in the remaining sugar. Drop mixture from tip of spoon in small piles one-half inch apart, on tins. Bake a very light brown
