  • 1 lb. dates, stoned
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 2 oz. candied ginger


Put dates through meat chopper and add the ginger and walnuts, coarsely cut. Knead and roll into sausage, using powdered sugar to prevent sticking. Serve cut in thin slices.
