  • 1 qt. cranberries
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar


Boil water and sugar to a syrup about 10 minutes, add the cranberries, washed and picked over. Cover at first and cook until the cranberries are clear. Serve cold with meat or poultry.
