Sliced Cucumber Pickles

• 50 cucumbers, about 1 by 3 inches
• ½ cup salt
• 2

Slice cucumbers, without peeling, ⅛ inch thick. Sprinkle well with the salt and let stand 3 hours, then drain. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix well and pack in jars or large mouthed bottles. Use best pickling vinegar and see that pickles are in the brine, closely covered. Will keep.
