Peel and chop 2 large, thin cucumbers, sprinkle with salt and let stand 2 hours in thin bag. Let drain. Add chopped onion and celery. Place in a small jar or wide mouthed bottle. Heat the rest of the ingredients with the vinegar, and spices in a bag, bring to the boiling point, let cool, and pour over the chopped vegetables. Seal.
