Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil
  • 2 tablespoons ground mustard
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

Method

Mix salt and sugar and stir in the oil thoroughly. Add the vinegar to the mustard and combine the mixtures. If too thick-add a little boiling water.

Or, take the dry, ground mustard and add to it gradually cold water or vinegar to make a smooth paste.
