  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1 ½ tablespoon sugar
  • yeast cake

Method

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Heat the milk until lukewarm; add the sugar and dissolve yeast cake. Fill airtight bottles, (patent tops), to within one and one-half inches of top; cork and invert. Let stand for 6 hours at a temperature of 8o0F. Chill and serve the following day. If ordinary bottles are used, tie the corks down firmly with strong twine. Use for fevers and gastric trou
