  • 1 cup white wine
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 7 lumps loaf sugar
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 3 small sticks cinnamon
  • 1 cup sweet cream
  • 2 yolks eggs


Boil water, wine, sugar and spices 10 minutes. Heat the cream, pour it gradually hot over the well beaten yolk and then pour in the boiling wine, stirring constantly, to prevent curdling. Serve hot or cold.
