This green salad is easy on the stomach and packed with flavor in every bite. It is the perfect accompaniment to a heavy meal, or a tasty alternative to a bag of chips for those who try to stay away from junk food. Without a doubt, your stomach will thank you.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil
  • 8 large garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 large

Method

Heat the oil in large, broad frying pan or wok over a medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until light golden brown.

Add the kale leaves and stir-fry with the garlic until the leaves have started to wilt. Add the broth and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until the leaves have wilted. Add a pinch of salt if needed.

Season with pepper and serve warm before the leaves become soggy.
