  • About

Simple, flavourful and the perfect family meal for any weeknight. It is also one of the first things that young people like to learn, as did I. This recipe has been one of the most popular one-pot dishes on my blog. A delight for many.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 8 pieces bone-in chicken
  • 1 tsp

Method

In a pan heat the oil, add the chicken and lightly brown all over for 10 minutes. Add all the spices, tomatoes, onions and a cup of water. Mix well. Add the potatoes, bring to a boil, cover the pot, lower the heat and let it cook for 30 minutes until all the chicken pieces are cooked through.

Serve hot with fresh warm rotlis or a crusty baguette.
