Chicken Palao with Barberries

There may be plenty of recipes for this wonderful palao, also known as shirini palao, but this is my mother Shireen’s own way of preparing this feast, which she has named Shireen's Zereshk Palao that I share. It has been my children's favourite and she has prepared it for them on special occasions. Since it has several different steps, you may need to read it twice before embarking on cooking this festive dish.
