I lived in Bushwick, Brooklyn (now referred to as East Williamsburg), back in 2018, and two restaurants defined my time there: Carthage Must Be Destroyed and Roberta’s. Roberta’s is still around today, and I highly recommend you visit (and order the Famous Original with honey, well done), but Carthage closed down in 2023.
