Ingredients

  • 8 large raw prawns (shrimp), or cooked ones
  • 2 chives, very finely chopped

Method

Bring the dashi to the boil, then add the prawns and cook on a medium heat for 5 minutes (or 3 minutes, if you are using cooked prawns). Skim off any foam, then stir in the miso. Take off the heat and serve, sprinkled with chives.
