Ingredients

  • 2 leeks, white parts only
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 chives, chopped

Method

Cut the leeks into 2 cm (¾ in) lengths. Heat the oil in a saucepan on a high heat and cook the leeks until the sides in contact with the saucepan have browned. Add the dashi and cook for 5 minutes on a medium heat. Stir in the miso, then take off the heat and serve. Sprinkle with the chives.
