Ingredients

  • 5 okra
  • 2 shiso (perilla) leaves, very finely shredded

Method

Cut the okra into 3 mm (⅛ in) slices. Bring the dashi to the boil, then add the okra and cook on a medium heat for about 1 minute. Stir in the miso, then take off the heat and serve. Sprinkle with the shiso.
