Ingredients

  • 150 g ( oz) spinach, leaves and stems
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

Cook the spinach in boiling salted water for barely 1 minute. Drain and, when it is cool enough to handle, use your hands to squeeze out the water. Cut the spinach into 3 cm (1¼ in) lengths. Combine the soy sauce, sugar, sesame paste and sesame seeds in a small bowl, then add the spinach.
