Method

For the jelly, place the agar-agar and water in a saucepan on a medium heat. Bring to the boil, stirring with a wooden spatula. When it boils, keep cooking and stirring for 2 minutes, then add the sugar and stir to dissolve. Remove from the heat and pour into a 15 cm (6 in) square mould or baking tin.
