Lamb with Rice

Potrawa z Baraniny z Ryżem

Ingredients

  • Lamb breast
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 qts. water
  • ½ cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Celery tops
  • ½ cup buttered crumbs
  • Parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 carrots

Method

Cook first 6 ingredients until meat is tender. Remove meat. Wash rice, add to meat stock. Bake in oven at 350° for 40 minutes. Add mushrooms and egg yolks and stir well. Place the cooked meat on top, cover with buttered crumbs and continue to bake for 20 minutes in 300° oven.
