Beets

Buraki

Ingredients

  • 6 medium sized beets
  • 1 cup sweet cream
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Method

Boil beets until tender. Peel and grate. Brown butter and flour, add to beets. Add cream and cook for three minutes, stirring constantly. For tartness, add lemon juice.
