Creamed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup sweet cream
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 egg yolk

Method

Slice or chop mushrooms. Fry in 2 tablespoons of butter with lemon juice until the, mushroom liquid cooks away. Season. Heat butter, add flour. When blended, add to mushrooms with the sweet cream. Simmer slowly. Add beaten egg yolk, mix well and serve.
