  • 1 peck mushrooms
  • Salt

Method

Wash mushrooms thoroughly. Arrange in layers in crock and sprinkle each layer with 1 tablespoon of salt. Weight down and let stand for 24 hours. Boil for half hour, pour into hot jars and seal.
