Cream Cheese Cake

Ingredients

  • 18 pieces zwieback
  • 1 ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoon butter

Method

Crush zwieback fine, mix with butter and sugar and line bottom of spring form mold.

  • 4 packages Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 inch length vanilla bean
  • 1 cup plus
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 4 egg whites
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Cream the cheese to a fluff. Add sugar, flour, salt and vanilla and beat. Add the beaten yolks. Mix well and add the sour cream. Fold in the stiffly beaten whites, pour into crumb lined pan and bake in 350° oven for about one hour.
