Frosting

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground walnuts
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ lb. butter

Method

Over a slow fire cook the walnuts, sugar and milk. At end of 10 minutes, add egg yolks and mix thoroughly. Cool and add brandy. Cream the butter, add the nut mixture and beat 15 minutes.
