Apple Compote

Kompot z Jabłek


  • 6 apples
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Small glass of white wine


Peel, core and quarter apples. Boil water, add sugar and wine. Bring to boil again. Add apples and simmer slowly until tender. The quarters remain whole and become rich and golden with the addition of the wine.
