  • About

There is no contributor’s name under this recipe in the CWA cookery book but I’m betting it came from Agnes herself. These lovely scones are traditional fare in Scotland, where she was born. Although they are flatter than the type of scones most of us know, one bite and you will soon see why they were so popular—if the delicious warm, spicy aroma coming from the oven doesn’t convince you first!
