These can be a snack or a topping for soups and salads. I’ve also tried this successfully with soybeans.


  • 14-oz [400-g] can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained and rinsed
  • 2 Tbsp


Preheat the oven to 325°F [160°C]. Dry the chickpeas thoroughly using paper towels. Place on a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat, add the oil, spices, and salt and thoroughly mix until evenly coated. Spread them in an even layer and
