This was a favorite order of mine at Pogo’s punk café in London, which held sway for all good animal activists in the noughties. Yes, it was all a bit “Judean People’s Front,” with many wars between the freegans, the flexitarians and the vegans. Myself—I was accused of not being quite “consensual” enough as a chef in the kitchen, i.e., being a non-PC bossy boots. But some of the food was good.
