I love turnovers, but I don’t always have the patience to make them since it involves shaping each individual pie. I invented this simple turnover “bake” that is a delicious cross between a cobbler and a turnover with the filling on the bottom and puff pastry laid on top. It’s filled with fresh fruit, oats, and maple syrup, so a bowlful of this is delicious enough for dessert but healthful enough for a breakfast treat.
