Banana Cake

There are plenty of banana cake recipes. My daughter Shamineh has shared her recipe for this delicious cake which is slightly different with the inclusion of miso, chocolate chips, coffee and walnuts. She has often made it together with her young son as it is an easy-to-stir cake and needs no machinery. This is a tea cake that is not too sweet; in fact, the miso leaves a savouriness that is rather delightful! It is best eaten freshly-baked, warm from the oven. It has layers of flavour, a nu
