These prawns are often served as an antipasto or part of a mixed seafood antipasto in a smaller portion. Schie are miniature prawns & they are really, really tiny. It will seem crazy as you are peeling them. If you can’t get schie, then use the smallest prawns you can find. Here they are boiled, peeled, then marinated in garlic & olive oil & served over polenta. Simple & good. You can add any other fresh chopped herbs or seasonings, but this is how I ate them in Venice.
