Musetto con Fagioli Piccanti

Musetto is a wintery Venetian dish – lovely in slices with a good dollop of mustard (Dijon is great), bread & a heap of the Veneto’s beautiful taupy-red speckled Lamon beans. These beans are also a beauty with grilled salsiccia, or other sausages that you like – & if you can’t find Lamon, just use borlotti beans.

Musetto is a Venetian sausage (also popular served with mashed potato or polenta), that I saw being kept in a separate warm broth to keep it soft & moist, then
