  • About

My sister-in-law, Luisa, taught me this recipe. She has been making it for a while & doesn’t remember where she got it from. It’s essentially a tart made up of layers: pastry, marmalade, amaretti biscuits &, finally, a creamy egg custard with ground almonds. The number of amaretti you need to cover the bottom of your pastry will depend on their size – if they’re small you’ll need a few more. If you have homemade orange marmalade it’s great in this tart.
