Curry Puffs

Chinese bakeries are so commonplace today, it’s hard to imagine that when my parents were growing up in the 1950s, there were barely any around. I love that in addition to all the sweet treats, there is always a selection of savory pastries to choose from. This curry puff (usually filled with beef) was always a favorite of mine. I wish there could be more plant-based options at these bakeries; perhaps one day I should open one of my own!
